Update Your User Account Information

Now is the time to “update your user info” for the 2024-25 school year. Our Hendrick MS PTA website updates to the new school year, annually on June 30th. Upon visiting our website home page after June 30th, you will be prompted to update your parent and student information each year! There will be a blue box, above the log in area, alerting you that

"Notice

Your personal information is out of date and needs to be updated. Please take a moment and review it here."

To update your parent(s) and student information, make sure to click "here" and fill in the fields for parent 1 and 2, then student information and finally your directory preferences.

Updating ensures that you receive our eNews newsletters, special eBlasts and other important PTA news throughout the new school year.

Take Flight - Monday, August 5, 2024

Take Flight is a day for Hendrick students and families to walk their schedule prior to the first day of school, pick up pre-ordered school supplies, purchase spirit wear and join the Hendrick PTA.

Students' class schedules should be uploaded by Take Flight.

***In order to view the schedules, all electronic forms must be completed and any account holds must be cleared.

Take Flight Times (TEACHERS WILL NOT BE ON CAMPUS):

7th & 8th Grade ONLY: 8:30a.m. to 10:30a.m.

6th Grade ONLY: 2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m.

School Supply Packs:

Can be picked up during your scheduled time. If you are unable to attend, please reach out and let us know.

Open house is quickly approaching. Open house is the time where parents and students get the opportunity to meet their teachers.

PTA Membership

It is a new year and we are looking for amazing PTA members! Become a member today to support our students and staff all year long! Membership dues directly support student programs, teacher classroom enrichment items for students, staff lunches and many other needs that Hendrick cannot support with district funds alone. By joining PTA you are not required to donate, volunteer or attend PTA meetings – but we’d love it if you did!

With ONE adult membership AND ONE student membership, your student will receive one free ticket to the fall social! This is a great event where the students LOVE hanging out at school. They play games, listen to music from our amazing DJ, eat pizza and snacks, and most of all, have safe fun with their friends!

All donations are 100% tax deductible, strictly confidential, and directly benefit, provide and support programs and tools for Hendrick Students, School and Staff. Your consideration and generosity are gratefully acknowledged and appreciated.

All donations to Hospitality are 100% tax deductible, strictly confidential and directly benefit PTA sponsored snack cart, monthly breakfasts or luncheons, and teacher appreciation week.

The PISD Volunteer Approval Process is Now Open - Please Renew or Sign Up Today on VOLY

Volunteers in Plano ISD will need to complete a volunteer application each school year to be eligible for district/school volunteer opportunities. Please visit plano.voly.org to create a volunteer account and begin this process for 2024-2025. If you created an account in the past, you will use that same log in to access your account to complete this year’s application.

Once your application is approved, re-visit plano.voly.org to sign up to volunteer at all schools at which you are interested in volunteering. This allows campuses to see their volunteers and their status in the system. For more details on the volunteer approval process, please visit pisd.edu/volunteer.

Share your artistic talents with the PTA Reflections Program! Earn ribbons and prizes at every level: the local Hendrick level, the Plano ISD Council of PTAs level, the Texas State level and the National level.

Summer is a great time to get inspired and plan your projects. It's never too early to start! Utilize the theme to create your original art. And submit as many entries in as many categories as you like to Hendrick PTA in early to mid November. Stay tuned for actual date. We are excited to see your entries Hawks!!!
